Medeama SC head coach Ignatius Fosu has called on Asante Kotoko supporters to lower their expectations ahead of the upcoming league season.
The Porcupines are currently in United Arab Emirates famous city Dubai for a two-week preseason tour, and many have tipped them for an explosive performance next season.[ads2]
But coach Ignatius Fosu believes Kotoko currently have a new technical direction and new players that will need ample time to gel and understand the coach’s technical instructions.
“The first thing is to lower their expectations. The team has a new coach, more of a new technical direction and you have added about 15 new players so it will not be like a team that has been there for sometime”, Ignatius Fosu told Kumasi-based Luv FM.[ads3]
He added that, “When they start and things don’t go as expected, let the fans not be angry because is part of the deal that football is not magic. Football is played with principles, it is also a gradual process. I trust Prosper Narteh, the process will come.”[ads5]
