Former President and 2024 Presidential hopeful of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama will on March 23-25, 2023 start his regional campaign in the Western region.[ads2]
The campaign is scheduled to start from Wassa East on Thursday, March 23 through to Shama, Ahanta West, Mpohor and end with a mammoth rally at the Sekondi-Takoaradi metropolis where all the five constituencies are expected to converge at Kwesimintsim to welcome the former president.
The second day of his tour will take Mr Mahama to all the three constituencies in the Nzema belt and will end the day at Tarkwa.[ads3]
The final day of his three-day tour will take him to the district capital of Wassa Amenfi West in Asankragua for the final funeral rites of George Dadzie Snr who is a former Council of State member and an NDC stalwart.
Mr Mahama will also meet delegates in Amenfi West immediately after the funeral and will continue his campaign in Amenfi Central and end his campaign in Wassa East before proceeding to the Central region to continue his nationwide campaign.[ads4]
