A young man with the name Emmanuel Kakra Cromwell has died after failing to raise Gh¢104,000 to undergo a brain surgery.
As Kyfilla.com earlier reported, Mr. Cromwell was suffering from brain aneurysm, a situation which brought about a weakness in his blood vessel in the brain that balloons and filled with his blood.
He was supposed to raise Gh¢104,000 which was equivalent to $18,000 to undergo a proper surgery but he couldn’t raise the money before his unfortunate demise.
Mr. Cromwell is said to have died in the early hours of Sunday, May 16, 2021 after failing to undergo the surgery.
His demise was announced by the Western Regional Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Richard Kirk-Mensah who was soliciting for funds to enable Kakra Cromwell to undergo the surgery.
The announcement from Richard Kirk-Mensah reads, “Few days ago I made a post to solicit funds for urgent surgery of our friend and brother Emmanuel Kakra Cromwell. We thank all those who helped unfortunately the young man couldn’t survive. He passed on early ours of this morning. May His soul and souls of all faithful departed rest in peace.”
