Manchester City Official Supporters Club, Ghana Branch made charity donations to two schools in the Greater Accra and Northern Region of Ghana as part of end of celebration for a successful season which saw the club snatch the 2017-18 Premier League title in a record breaking fashion and the 2017-18 Carabao Cup.

The 120 registered Cityzens in Ghana made donations to two schools; New Horizon Special School, Cantonment–Accra and Kanvilli Nuriya Islamic Primary School, Tamale.
Cityzens Ghana was formed in 2007 by Chairman Mr. Peter Amoabil. The group earned an official confirmation on www.mancity.com, December 3, 2017 and has since seen significant improvement and its number tripled.
The items donated were teaching and learning materials to enhance teaching and learning in both schools and also bring down the burden of sharing learning equipment.
At the New Horizon Special School, Cantonment-Accra, Cityzens led by Vice Chairman Mr. Eric Mensah, made donation on Saturday 9th June 2018 while at Kanvilli Nuriya School, Tamale donation was led by Mr. Peter Amoabil, Chairman of the Cityzen Ghana to make the donation on Monday, June 11, 2018.

Ibrahim Sadia received the items on behalf of the Kanvilli Nuriya School, Tamale and Head of New Horizon Special School, Madam Jocelyn did same on the school’s behalf.
