The District Chief Executive for the newly created Guan District in the Oti Region, Marlon Anipa has reportedly passed on.
Mr. Anipa died in Hohoe on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 according reports.[ads2]
Details of his death are yet to be known.
The news of his demise comes barely two weeks after his approval as the first-ever DCE for the newly created Guan District.[ads3]
Marlon Anipa was unanimously approved as the DCE for the District by all 19 Assembly members after his nomination by President Akufo-Addo.
Before his demise, Marlon Anipa was a specialist consultant and a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party.
He contested the Hohoe parliamentary seat in 2016 on the ticket of the party but failed in his bid.[ads5]
