Well-known Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah has filed a lawsuit against actor and musician Kwadwo Nkansah, better known by his stage name Lilwin, for some offensive remarks he made about her recently.
Lil Win criticized Martha Ankomah in a recently circulated video, saying she looked down on the Kumawood film industry.
During Lilwin’s live broadcast, award-winning director Frank Fiifi Gharbin reportedly revealed to Lilwin that Martha had said Kumawood does not produce intelligent films and that she would never work with Kumasi stars.
Furthermore, he mentioned that these were supposedly the words that Martha Ankomah was heard saying when Director Gharbin was attempting to cast her in a Kumawood production.
In a furious tirade, Lilwin called Martha Ankomah’s alleged remarks disrespectful during his live broadcast.
It appears that Lilwin’s comments have hurt Martha Ankomah, so she has decided to take the proper legal action.
