Asante Kotoko midfielder, Martin Antwi could drag the club to the Ghana FA Statues Committee over unpaid wages.
Antwi was not part of the registered players for the Porcupine Warriors this season despite having contract with the club.[ads2]
The former WAFA SC skipper who was a starter for Asante Kotoko last season, couldn’t make it to the club’s registered players for the 2020/21 league season.
According to the manager of the talented midfielder, his client still has a contract with Asante Kotoko but has not been paid his last two seasons singing on fees alongside some months of salaries.[ads3]
In an interview on Kessben FM, the manager of Martin Antwi threatened that should Asante Kotoko failed to settle the issue, they will head to the GFA Statues Committee to demand for the unpaid wages and some compensation.
It would be recalled that, recently Asante Kotoko have been in the books
of the Ghana FA Statues Committee for quite too many with former coaches CK Akonnor and Kjetil Zachariassen all dragging the team to the committee for compensations.[ads4]
Also, there are reports that about seven players have filed a complaint against Asante Kotoko at the GFA Statues Committee over unfair treatments among other issues.[ads5]
