Kumasi Asante Kotoko ended their clash with fellow Premier league side Medeama Sporting Club in a 1:1 stalemate at the Sekondi Sports Stadium today 14th November, 2018.
The Porcupine Warriors dominated the early minutes of the game which saw them creating a lot of goal scoring opportunities but was all squandered by Frederick Boateng and Obed Owusu upfront.
Kotoko continued to put pressure on the defense of Medeama until Emmanuel Gyamfi had the opener in the 32nd minutes to bring his outfit on top.
Medeama returned from the break with confidence of getting the equalizer but all efforts went fruitless as Abdul Ishmael Ganiyu and Emmanuel Agyeman Badu were solid at the defense of Kotoko.
Coach Samuel Boadu’ side continued to knock the doors until sub Ibrahim Laryea had the equalizer in the 89th minutes of the titanic encounter.
The game ended 1:1 after the ninety minutes.
