West African Football Academy (WAFA) has whipped Dreams FC by five goals to nothing in a match week ten fixture at Sogakope.
Dreams FC went into this match in good form looking to make it four wins in a row but were stopped and thrashed by the Academy boys.
After beating Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Liberty Professionals and defending league champions Aduana stars prior to this game, it certainly looked like Dreams FC would run away with the three points on the day until things went south and they were raped by WAFA.
At the end of the first half, WAFA had already taken a two-goal lead courtesy goals from Justice Amartey and Richard Danso.
The Academy Boys did not sleep as they came back in the second half to add three more goals to hand Dreams FC their heaviest defeat so far in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
Charles Boateng scores on the 63rd minute, followed by a Mohammed Alhassan Goal in the 83rd minute. Charles Boateng added another one to complete his brace in added on time after the 90 minutes.
Despite the heavy defeat, Dreams FC stays in the second position on the league log while the victors on the day move up to the 6th position to give them a boost as the fight for the Premier League title continues.
