Aduana Stars were held to a 1:1 draw by Berekum Chelsea at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Match Day Ten of the Ghana Premier League.
The defending champions could have thrashed the Golden City lads in the first half but wasted all the nemerous chances created .
Aduana Stars Bright Adjei and Nathaniel Asamoah could have handed the home team quick goals in the early minutes of the heated encounter but all efforts was saved by the Berekum Chelsea’s shot stopper Ahenkorah.
The home team continued their dominance in the game with some brilliant showdown from scintillating duo Emmanuel Boateng and Noah Martey but all efforts couldn’t earn the Dormaa based team a goal.
The first half ended in a goalles but the defending champions of the Ghana Premier League came in strongly in the second department of the game with the zeal to get the opener but all efforts was to no avail as goalkeeper Gideon Ahenkorah fisted them out.
Owusu Addae in the 66th minutes gave a superb strike to Stephen Amankona, who converted the chance to bring the visitors on top of the game.
However, captain Emmanuel Akuoko gave back hope to the Dormaa based team as he netted the equalizer in the 82nd minutes.
The game ended with Berekum Chelsea’s Zakaria Fuseini grabbing the man of the match award after a dazzling performances.
