Medeama have announced a partnership agreement with Fiase Golden Royal Ladies FC as the official women’s team to support the Confederation of African Football mandatory licensing requirements.
CAF announced all participants in the CAF inter club competitions must have a women’s team as a mandatory requirement.
The BetPawa Premier League winners have adopted Tarkwa-based Women’s Division One League side, Fiase Golden Royals Ladies in order to complete the requirements.
“The announcement represents another significant and exciting step forward in adopting a female football club as part of CAF’s growing effort of developing the game.

“The club will provide logistical and other support to the team in the Western Region Division One Women’s League.
