Reigning Ghana Premier League Champions Medeama Sporting Club have announced and agreement with and Al Nasr Sports Club of Dubai.
The goal of the partnership agreement is to raise the giants of Ghana’s profile internationally.
Medeama have become the first Ghanaian team to formally have a relationship with an Emirati club in recent memory.
Top officials from both clubs served as witnesses as the two parties formalized the agreement, with Medeama president Moses Armah signing on behalf of the Ghanaian powerhouses and Al Nasr chairman Abdulla Bin Touq signing on behalf of the Emirati side.
The club revealed that the objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) are to discover and investigate the best practices in both clubs in a statement from Medeama SC.
The partnership, according to the statement, also entails technical knowledge sharing for both parties’ senior and youth teams, administrator capacity building, sponsorship opportunities, technical staff and football management experts exchanging visits, and any other matters judged essential for the successful promotion of the two parties’ interests.
