Tarkwa-based side Medeama SC are unwilling to open renegotiations with Asante Kotoko regarding the permanent switch of in-form midfielder, Justice Blay.
According to an earlier statement released by the Ghana Premier League side, all contract talks which includes loan deals are placed on hold as the club are unsure the current state of the Ghana Premier League season.
Justice Blay whose was loaned out for a season to the Porcupine Warriors has become an instant hit with the Kumasi-based most successful Ghana Premier League side rumoured to be seeking a permanent switch.

The move is dealt with a major blow following the statement signed by the communication department of the parent club.
“At such all deals including new signings, out-of-contracts and loaned players have been put on hold.
“The club is monitoring the situation closely and will only resume negotiations once there is more clarity and certainty on the season.

“The club has taken a decision to put all contracts talks on hold. We want to be sure about the certainty of the league before we resume any form of talks.
“The decision includes new signings, renewals and loaned players.
“We are in constant touch with the Ghana FA and as and when a decision is made by the federation, we will know the way forward.”
