Medeama Sporting Club would be competing in the 2020/21 league season with arguably one of the most formidable squad in the country.
The Tarkwa-based club has been tipped as one of the clubs favorite to lift the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title considering the players available at the team.
They may not have the big names in the country but Medeama Sporting Club is considered as one of the Ghanaian clubs with the best squad dept.
Even though the Yellow and Mauves have transferred to abroad their attackers of Nana Kofi Babil and Prince Opoku-Agyemang who were the topscorers for the team in the truncated 2019/20 league season, the club have added to their squad former Ghana U-20 and New Edubiase striker Abdul Basit Adams to fill the void created by Nana Kofi Babil and Prince Opoku-Agyemang.
The two-times Ghana FA Cup champions have also signed former AshantiGold shot-stopper Frank Boateng to give huge competition to Eric Ofori Antwi who has been consistent at the club for years.

Arguably, Medeama Sporting Club boast of the best midfield in the country which include; Richard Boadu, Rashid Nortey, Eric Kwakwa, Akwasi Donsu, Agyei Boakye and Justice Blay who spent last season on loan at Asante Kotoko.
In all, Medeama Sporting Club have registered three(3) goalkeepers, ten (10) defenders, twelve (12) midfielders and five(5)attackers.
