Wamanafo Mighty Royals FC confirms the appointment of Mensah Logosu, popularly known as ‘Lion’ as their new Head Coach ahead for the 2023/24 Access Bank Division One League.
The Club released an official statement to confirm this development on Saturday via the Club’s official Twitter account.
“IT’S NOW OFFICIAL.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Coach Mensah Logosu. LION as our technical head to lead us to the elite division.” the statement reads
The savvy coach did well to help Eleven Wonders to finish as Division One-Zone A champions.
His leadership enabled the “Sure Wonders” to finish the season with 52 points after 14 victories, 10 ties, and 4 losses.
Unfortunately, after losing to Bofoakwa Tano in penalty shootouts during the playoffs, they were still unable to compete in the highest division of football.
He is anticipated to transform the Royals into a force to reckon with in zone B of the first division next season.
The club also believes Logosu is the right fit to lead them to Ghana Premier League promotion.
