Black Queens head coach Mercy Tagoe Quarcoe has axed five players from the team’s camp ahead of the upcoming WAFU tournament.
The action from the coach is in bid to prune down the 30 players who were called for camping at Cape Coast.
Meanwhile, the remaining 25 players will continue preparing to cement a place in the final 21 squad for the tournament which is scheduled for May this year at Ivory Coast.
The five players who have been dropped are Joyce Antwiwaa Fenteng of Ashtown Ladies, El- Shaddai Acheampong, Horlali Attivor all of Kumasi Sports Academy alongside Rabi Musa of Fabulous Ladies and Samira Abdul- Rahman.
