Accra Hearts of Oak’s Board of Directors have announced Mercy Tagoe-Quaicoe has been appointed as the Head Coach of Oaks FC, the Club’s newly formulated Women’s team on Saturday, July 29, 2023.
Mercy Tagoe-Quaicoe returns to active coaching after last seen with Berry Ladies FC in the first half of the 2022/2023 Women’s Premier League.
Oaks FC, a women’s team of Accra Hearts of Oak was formulated following the acquisition of Nimobi Ladies FC, and renamed.
The team will continue to compete in the Greater Accra Football Association Women’s Division One League for the upcoming season and seek promotion to the elite division.
According to the statement released by Hearts of Oak FC, the technical changes is to ensure good technical direction for the club and promote coordination among the teams.

Also, Swedish trainer, Rene Hiddink has been named a the Club’s technical director, Jerry Adjei Asare as been named as the new goalkeepers trainer while Sebastian Barnes take the role as the Club Scout.
Carlos Klu will act as the welfare as Hearts of Oak ready another batch of technical team members for the upcoming season.
