Chelsea legend, Michael Essien has declared support for the legalization of LGBTQI in Ghana.
Many have kicked against the LGBTQI Community in Ghana after establishment of some offices in Accra.
Though some have been supporting a legalization of the practices, majority of Ghanaians home and abroad have kicked against it.
This led to the closure of the offices in Accra by the national security.[ads4]
But in his Instagram, Micheal Essien declared his support for the LGBTQI Community in Ghana, adding that Ghanaians should support equality.
“We see you, we hear you, we support you. Our LGBTQIA plus Community in Ghana #ghanasupportequality 🇬🇭🤝🏿”, Essien wrote on Instagram..
He becomes the only Ghanaian footballer to declare support for the legalization of the LGBTQI in the country…
