Former Accra Hearts of Oak and Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Polo says he is ready to handle any of the national teams when given the chance.
Mohammed Polo endured a turbulent season at Hearts of Oak as the head coach after taking over from dismissed David Duncan.
In an interview with Kwesi Koomson of Aseda FM of which Kyfilla.com monitored, Polo wailed that he has been waiting for quite too long for national team assignment and believes he’s ready to coach any of the national teams when given the chance.
” I’ve waited for quite too long for a national team assignment”, he wailed.
” I’m among the best coaches in the country for now and I don’t know why I have not been given a national team to coach.
“I’m ready to coach any of the national teams when given the chance.
Mohammed Polo was part of the Ghana squad that won the 1978 African Cup of Nations and was an influential figure for Hearts of Oak during the 1970’s.
Polo is said to be arguably the most technically gifted player to emerge from Ghana.
