Ghanaian international and Black Stars defender Mohammed Salisu was in scintillating form as he lasted 90 minutes and got a yellow card for his club AS MONACO in their hard-fought 2-1 away win over Toulouse in the French Ligue 1 round 17.
After suffering an injury that kept him out of the game at the beginning of the season, Salisu returned to action a few weeks ago, and since then, he has been nothing short of amazing for his team.
Following his inclusion in Chris Houghton’s 50-man provisional squad for the AFCON, the 24-year-old former Valladolid defender may make his AFCON tournament debut. He was rated 7.5.
AS MONACO are 3rd on the league table with 33 points after 17 matches.
