Fast rising Takoradi based artiste Isaac Affum known in the Western region showbiz industry as Zekay has said money is not the reason why he is doing music.[ads1]
Zekay who holds Masters degree in City Planning and currently works at the Western region Coordinating Council believes money will be the last on his reasons for entering into the music world.
Speaking in an interview with Ideas GH TV, Zekay stated that his main reason for doing music is to entertain Ghanaians and make jama music a household genre in the Ghanaian music industry.
“Sincerely speaking, money is not the reason why am doing music. I currently work at the Regional Coordinating Council and I hold my masters degree in City Planning and it’s not music that I will be depending on for a living.

“My aim, actually, is to make jama music a household genre in the industry just like how Reggie Rockston came with hip life,I also want to be known like such when it comes to jama music. I also want to use jama songs to entertain Ghanaians”, Zekay added.

Asked whether there are people financing his musical career, Zekay said,”No…. Am financing everything myself because I have the resources but when things get difficult, I know where to run to for support but currently am doing everything myself.”
Zekay is currently out with two jama songs ‘Single One’ and ‘Eda Odo Beeba’ and currently making waves in the media space in the Western region.
