Mobile Telecommunication Network(MTN) Ghana has announced that it has aborted the plan to increase the charges for cash-out transactions to an amount of GH¢20.00 for withdrawals above GH¢ 2,000.00.
The statement reveals the earlier GH¢10.00 and 1 percent, capped at GH¢10.00 will still be maintained.

The statement warned that any other charges should be entertained.
The statement:
“The planned review of the cash out fee for MoMo has been withdrawn. The current cash out fee of 1%, capped at GH¢10.00 still remains and will be charged to your wallet.
“Do not pay any other fees. We apologize for any other inconvenience this may have caused. Just MoMo it”.
