Ghanaian professional footballer, Mubarak Wakaso has donated a pair of football boots to Asante Kotoko forward Songne Yacouba.
The Black Stars and Deportivo Alaves midfielder presented the boots to the Asante Kotoko’s Burkinabe import who has been in a blistering form since joining the Porcupines last year from Malian side Stade Malian with a reported two-year deal.
Yacouba was a sensation for the Kumasi based team during their CAF Confederation Cup campaign, scoring two goals with two assists to his credit.
The former Panathinaikos midfielder, Wakaso who was enthused about Yacouba’s performance for the IFFHS’s club of the 20th century during the CAF Confederation Cup campaign, has rewarded the Burkinabe star with the pair of football boots.
Songne Yacouba is reportedly on the verge of leaving the Reds, eyeing a move to Europe with bumper offer from France.
Mubarak Wakaso on the other hand, has capped 51 appearances for Ghana since making his debut in 2012, scoring 12 goals.
