Deportivo Alaves midfielder Mubarak Wakaso was named the man of the match in Ghana’s win over Guinea-Bissau yesterday.
Ghana thumped the Guineans 2:0 at the Suez Stadium on Tuesday to book a round sixteen slot with goals from Jordan Ayew and Thomas Teye Partey.
Wakaso received the award for his spectacular performance in the game which contributed to the Black Stars first victory in the ongoing AFCON.
The victory enabled Ghana to top the group F table with 5 points while Cameroon placed second with 5 points.
The four times AFCON champions will face off Tunisia in the round sixteen stage slated for Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Ismailia Stadium.
