Western Region Football Association Chairman elect, Simon Ehomah says his doors are open to anyone who wants to help in running the association for the next stipulated years.

According to Ehomah, football in the Western region need to be revived and will need the support of anyone who wants to offer a helping hand.
“We have cried for a change for long and by God’s grace the change has finally come. Football in the region need to be revived and I can’t do it alone, I will need the support of everyone including the footballers, club administrators and even the media.

“My doors are open to anyone who wants to help run the association, because we need to work together for the betterment of football in the region”, said Ehomah after winning the elections.

Simon Ehomah who was the district football chairman for Ellembelle prior to the elections, beat off competition from the then Vice Chairman James Asiedu Kainyah (Jamkay) as well as Effia-Kwesiminstim Municipal Assembly sports chairman Bismark Owusu Mensah, who also double as the CEO for division two side Bis Paradise, to become the new Western region FA boss.

He accumulated 47 votes whiles James Asiedu Kainyah pulled 28 votes with Bismark Owusu Mensah bagging 26.
