The National Elections Security Taskforce (NESTF), under the chairmanship of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has held a high-level strategic meeting with the leadership of political parties to discuss security arrangements for the upcoming December General Elections.
The main agenda of the meeting is to finalize security arrangements for the upcoming December General Elections. There’s only 15 days to the elections and all the political parties are poised for victory.
This year’s election will be a fiercely contested one as the main two opposition parties in Ghana are looking forward for massive victories. The New Patriotic Party (NPP) are looking forward to break the eight year term to continue running the country.
On the other hand, National Democratic Congress (NDC) are also eager to stop the ruling party breaking the eight year term.
