Former General Manager of Asante Kotoko, Nana Gyimbibi Coker has shed light on Nations FC’s ownership and revealed the Club belongs to children of Dr. Kwame Kyei.
Coker refute claims that Dr. Kwame Kyei is the owner of Nations FC, clarifying that the club actually belongs to the two children of Dr. Kwame Kyei.
Nations FC, a newly-promoted team in the Ghana Premier League, earned their place through a strong performance in Zone II of the national division one league last season.
In a statement, Coker stated, “Let me correct any misconceptions about Nations Football Club ownership. Nations FC does not belong to Dr. Kyei but to his two children. Additionally, the stadium, known as Dr. Kyei Complex, is his personal property.”
The main reason he bought and renovated the stadium was to serve the team’s interests,” he said.
