Dreams FC whipped Accra Hearts of Oak 1:0 at Dawu on Saturday afternoon to end the NC Special Competition campaign.
Issah Ibrahim strike separated both sides in the cagey fixture at the Theater of Dreams in Dawu.
The Phobians started the game on a higher note, creating goal threatening chances but failed to utilize them to their favour.
Kwadwo Obeng Junior and Kofi Kordzi made some brilliant strikes but goalkeeper Isaac Amoako denied the visitors from getting the opener by preventing the audacious strikes from entering the back of the net.
Anthony Quayson sustained an injury in the 21st minutes and coach Kim Grant brilliantly replaced him with Selassie Bless Bekai.
Finally Issah Ibrahim had the opener for the home side in the 37th minutes to end the first department of the game.
Hearts of Oak returned from the recess with lots of energy, making incursions of getting the equalizer but all went futile as the Still Believe lads maintained their composure at defense still the blast of the whistle.
The game ended 1:0 advantage the home side.
Even though, they lost to Dreams FC, the Continental Club Masters have qualified for the semi-finals and will face their bitterest rival Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
