The 2:0 victory has empowered Asante Kotoko to the summit of the tier 1 Zone A table with 21 points and will wait for their game against Aduana Stars at Dormaa to decide whether they will qualify for the semi-finals stage or not while Medeama Sporting Club have dropped to the second position with 19 points and will secure a qualification against Berekum Chelsea at the Tarkwa NA Aboso Park.
