The National Communications Authority (NCA) has announced decision to shutdown 49 illegally operating television stations in Ghana.
According to a statement from the NCA, these television stations are operating without the authorized certificate.[ads2]
The NCA is embarking on the shutdown exercise after a thorough monitoring of these satellite free-to-air television stations.
Already, the NCA has shutdown two television stations belonging to self-styled priestess Nana Agradaa namely Thunder TV and Ice 1 TV and are in course to shutdown other stations without the proper authorisation.[ads3]
Television stations such as Dove TV, Asempa TV, Caci TV, Nazareth TV, Ahotosour TV, Aflao TV and others are included in the list of stations to be shutdown by the NCA.[ads4]
