The National Democratic Congress (NDC) did marvelously well with regards to developments during my administration, former President John Dramani Mahama has said.[ads2]
According to him, Ghanaians were not appreciative of the numerous developmental projects the NDC carried out during his tenure as the leader of the country because the party failed to tell its successes to the people.
Speaking at the Chatham House on Friday, January 27, on the theme “Africa’s Strategic Priorities & Global Role”, Mr Mahama said “When President Akufo-Addo came we had achieved economic stability. All they needed was to continue from there but unfortunately, this is where they have led us to.”[ads3]
He stressed “We were not forceful in letting the people see what we have done we assumed they will see it. We did quite a lot,” he said.
He advised that, “maybe next if we get the chance, our leaders should make it a point to let the people know what we have done.”[ads4]
