Legal practitioner, Nyamekye Armah Blay has been elected the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Sekondi in the Western Region.
He has been declared the winner during the party’s presidential and parliamentary primaries on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
Armah Blay amassed 503 votes to defeat his competitor Samuel Bissah who had 307 votes despite touted as the favorite.
He is expected to win the Sekondi seat for the NDC despite the constituency being an NPP stronghold.
