Eric Edem Agbana has been elected the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Ketu North.
Mr Agbana has been handed the ticket during the party’s presidential and parliamentary primaries on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
He amassed 360 votes, just a vote ahead of his main competitor John Adanu.
Other candidates were Leonard Korbla, Emmanuel Agbanyo, Gabriel Korbla Tanko and Ledi Prosper Proco.
Edem Agbana is expected to succeed outgoing MP James Klutse Avedzi who will not contest again when his term end in 2025.
