The Western Region Sports Authority has announced Saturday 24th November, 2018 as a new date for the much anticipating Inter-Districts Athletics Championship.
The event was initially slated for September 29 last month as earlier reported by kyfilla.com but due to lack of sponsors and financial imbalances hitting the organizers it had to be rescheduled to November 24, 2018.

The event now has GNPC Foundation as its main sponsor and would be participated by twenty-three (23) districts in the Western region at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.
The participating districts are expected to report on Friday 23rd November, 2018 before the main event commences on the following day.

Kyfilla.com understands that the organizers are using the championship to select athletes that will represent the Western region in upcoming unity games.
