Following the Nigeria Super Eagles’ victory over the Ivory Coast team, reports state that Nigerian singer-songwriter Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo, better known by his stage name Kcee, won N11.7 million in a wager.
The well-known Limpopo hitmaker made headlines on Wednesday, January 17, when he bet N3 million that his country would defeat Cote d’Ivoire.
In a TikTok video, Kcee and fellow singer Teni celebrated the Super Eagles’ 1-0 victory at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The game-winning goal came from a penalty kick conversion made by Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong in the second half.
