Nkana FC have jetted off to Ethiopia enroute to Zambia after a heavy defeat to Kumasi Asante Kotoko yesterday.
Kotoko avenged their 3:1 defeat to Nkana in Kitwe by thrashing the Zambian giant three unanswered at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Nkana left the shores of Ghana around 12:00PM this afternoon with Ethiopian Airline and expected to land in Addis Ababa late in the afternoon before boarding another flight to Zambia.
Ghanaian defender, Richard Ocran who was suspended but watched his side, Nkana FC being humiliated by Kotoko from the stands joined the team for Zambia.
Nkana will continue their hunt for quarter-final ticket on Sunday against arch rivals Zesco United in match-five of the CAF Confederation Cup group stages at the Nkana Stadium in Kitwe whiles Asante Kotoko will face Sudanese giant Al Hilal Omdurman at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on the same day.
