KEEP YOUR CALM; NO NEED TO PANIC – NANA AMEYAW ASSURES FANS OVER CLAIMED ALEX ASAMOAH’ INELIGIBILITY
Premier league debutants Techiman Eleven Wonders bank roller Nana Ameyaw has asked fans of the club to ignore media reports that striker Alex Asamoah was not eligible to play against Hearts of Oak.
Reports say the former Asante Kotoko striker played against Accra Hearts of Oak in the week one fixtures of the 2017/2018 premier league with his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) yet to arrive, making him ineligible to have played against Accra Hearts of Oak.
When proven, Eleven Wonders would lose the three points to Hearts of Oak who are said to have lodged a protest against the Techiman based club.
However, Nana Ameyaw has calmed nerves by denying the claims.
” As the owner of Eleven Wonders, I will not lead the club astray, the claims about Alex Asamoah’s ineligibility is news to me and completely untrue”, Nana Ameyaw told FOX 97.9 FM.
” All necessary documents about Alex Asamoah were ready before the start of the league so there is no need to panic if you are a supporter of Eleven Wonders “, he assured.
