The Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee has increased the participation fee for its special competition.
The competition which is for both Premier League and Division One clubs is to fill the void created as football activities has been halted since last year and it’s currently in the normalization period.
The Dr. Amoah led Committee has increased the participation fee for each club to Thirty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 30,000) instead of the initial Twenty Thousand Ghana Cedis.
In a statement signed by the Deputy General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association, Alex Asante, the regulations, format and the participation fees have all been revised to meet the legitimate concerns of the club.
The statement continues that the clubs have to confirm their participation as well as provide bank account details to the Ghana Football Association Secretariat on Monday, March 25, 2019 with media launch to follow on the same day and venue.
