Honorable Ebenezer Kojo Kum, the member of Parliament for Ahanta West has said the NPP government has done enough for the Constituency.
He stated emphatically that, in the history of Ahanta West, the NPP government has done marvellously well to improve the lives of the constituents.
Speaking at Egyam, a town in the Constituency, Honorable Kojo Kum who double as ECOWAS MP and the NPP parliamentary candidate for the area stated the uncountable projects executed by the NPP government in various fields.
Health
The ace legal practitioner mentioned the various projects done by the NPP government such as CHIP compound construction. “Dixcove Hospital now has ultra-modern facilities that promotes good healthcare delivery. Health insurance premises which was in a deplorable state has recently been provided with a summer hat and a flat screen television. Provision of motorcycles and bedspreads in the various health facilities in the district. The district has received its share of the Ambulances distributed by the NPP government. Accident and emergency centre construction at Apemanim is ongoing, Construction of Regional hospital in the pipeline and host of others.
Roads
“In terms of road construction, one will only have to doff his hat to the NPP government for the continuous creation of good roads for Ahanta West. The government continues to provide our communities with better road systems.
He added that , Although Cape Three Point road has been in existence since the NDC regime. I am happy to say that under the leadership of the NPP, its development into a modernised road is underway.” [ads2]
“There is also an ongoing road construction from Agona Nkwanta to Dixcove and from Dixcove to Awuntumano to Akwodai. Construction of a new bridge between New town and Old town of Akwodai. Other feeder roads such as the ones in Aboadi, Sese, Huntumano and Butre are all in the pipeline. The good people of places such Ayaano to Egyambra/Memia, New Amanfo etc. are rest assured of a better road in the coming years.”
Employment
“Before I came into office, it was problematic for people in our district to get employment with Cocoa Board. When I was elected into power, I made that long-held credence a thing of the past. I wrote a letter to Cocoa Board to provide employment for people of our communities.”
“Individually, I have helped a lot of students in our communities to secure job employments. Employment is so dear to me. There shall be Airport construction in Kagyabir. It’s at the stage of what is termed as “financing agreement.” Once funds are disbursed to start the construction, there shall be a lot of job opportunities for our people.”[ads3]
“A lot of projects are in the pipeline. We as a district as well as the nation is progressing steadily. It would be sad and unfortunate, if we hand over power to another group of people to send us into abject retrogression. As you vote for me, you vote for Nana Addo-Dankwa Akuffo Addo as well. We shall do more with you and for you.”
