After losing about 32 parliamentary seats to the NDC in the 2020 elections, Sammi Awuku has entreated the NPP to pay attention to regaining all the lost seats in the 2024 polls.
According to the NLA Director-General, there would be a battle for several parliamentary seats in the 2024 polls hence the need for the ruling party to pay much attention to that instead of focusing solely on the presidential election.
“I think that the NPP must focus on regaining our lost seats because there will be a battle for Parliament. But I think we [NPP] will beat the NDC through strategy”, Mr Awuku said on Citi Breakfast Show on Tuesday, April 4, 2022.
