Nzema Kotoko Football Club startling winger, Ali Muftawu has donated exercise books and uniforms to some selected students of Ampain D/A School in Elembelle District of the Western region.
The gesture forms part of the young but talented winger’s campaign to encourage children of the community to have their education at heart.
Speaking after presenting eleven school uniforms and exercise books to the selected students at the school premises, Muftawu articulated that helping the needy, poor is never a burden rather an opportunity and will continue to support with the little that he gets.
“Supporting the needy and the poor isn’t a burden but an opportunity and as a young footballer, I will keep supporting with the little that I will get. So as part of giving back to the community where I currently play my professional football, I decided to present eleven school uniforms and exercise books to some selected students in the nearby school. I prayed to get enough so that all the students will be benefit. I also want to encourage the students to have their education at heart thus the donation”, Muftawu said after the donation.
Meanwhile, Ali Muftawu has been an instrumental figure for Nzema Kotoko, helping the Ampain based club to clinch the quarterfinal spot in the NC Special Competition tier 2 after beating Vision FC at the Tarkwa NA Aboso Park and will face off Hearts of Lions for a semi-final ticket.
