Former President of the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGHA), Bice Osei Kuffour otherwise known as Obour has disclosed his reason for joining the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to the renowned Ghanaian musician, he has been an NPP supporter since his boyhood days because of the party’s philosophies and ideas when they gain power.

He indicated that, his parent are card-bearing members of the NPP and he will forever be a member of the ruling party.
“NPP is a party that I have always admired from my boyhood days. It is a family that we all belong to since both my mother and father are all card-bearing members of the great NPP.

“So all these while, it has been a party that I find very exciting because of their ideals and philosophy. That’s why I’m now a known member of NPP but I have been behind the scenes for some time now”, Obour told Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central in an interview.
It would be recalled that, Obour contested for the Asante Akyem South parliamentary seat in the NPP Primaries but lost to incumbent Kwaku Asante Boateng.

Obuor pulled a total of 296 votes in the primaries as against Kwaku Asante Boateng’s 360.
