Bernard Morrison has completed a move to ASFAR of Morocco ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
The former Orlando Pirates attacker signed a one-year contract with an option to extend for another year.
He will re-unite with head coach Nasreddine Nabi who he previously worked with at Young Africans.
Bernard Morrison has been handed the number 5 shirt at the club.
After the 2022–2023 season ended, the 30-year-old Ghanaian was let go by Young Africans, becoming a free agent.
In the Young Africans’ CAF Confederation Cup run, he made six appearances, scored once, and advanced to the finals before losing to USM Alger of Algeria.
Morrison contributed significantly to the club’s successful championship defense in the Tanzanian Premier League.
Morrison had previously played for Young Africans’ fiercest rivals Simba SC, AS Vita Club of the Congo, and South African powerhouses Orlando Pirates.
