Ghana international Ernest Asante has joined UAE side Al- Jazira FC from Danish side FC Nordsjaelland
The 29- year old winger signed a two – year deal for the Abu Dhabi based club on Wednesday after spending close to 6 years in the Scandinavian Countries.
Asante has previously had stints with Starbaek FC , IK Start, all in Norway before joining FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark.
His two seasons in Denmark with Superliga side FC Norsdjaelland produced 21 goals and 13 assists in 66 appearances.
He was a member of the 2005 Ghana Under 17 team Coach by David Duncan at the FIFA World Cup at Peru and was voted the most fastest player on earth in 2016
The uncapped Ghanaian will immediately take the place of influential Morocco centre midfielder Mbark Bousoufa in the four-player foreign quota, after the parties failed to agree a contract renewal.

The deal was Confirmed on the official Twitter page of the Abu Dhabi based club.
