Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko has joined Turkish second-tier side Istanbulspor AS .
Akaminko penned a one-year deal with Yellow and Black lads after completing a medical on Friday afternoon.
The 30-year-old left Turkish second-tier side Eskisehispor after a mutual termination of his contract at the end of last term.
He was reported to have left the club due to poor treatment over payment of salaries and bonuses.
The former Heart of Lions captain suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury prior to the 2014 World Cup in a warm-up game with Ghana.
