Newly promoted Ghana Premier league outfit Bibiani Goldstars FC have confirmed the departure of head coach Kobina Amissah.
As Kyfilla.com earlier broke the news, coach Kobina Amissah has relinquished his position at the club after securing them a ticket to play in the Ghana Premier league next season.
The astute tactician has vacated his position at the Bibiani-based club after failing to renew his contract after expiration.[ads2]
In an interview with Kyfilla.com, coach Kobina Amissah stated that he has decided to end his marriage with Goldstars to embark on a sabbatical leave after three years of active service.
It is not like am leaving because there is pressure but I have been active for the past three seasons and I need to take enough rest and refresh my mind. Though am leaving, if they need my support, I will wholeheartedly do that but not as part of the management team. I will definitely bounce back very soon”, he said.[ads3]
In a post, Goldstars FC have expressed their gratitude to the former Hasaacas, Elmina Sharks coach for a successful journey with the club and have wished him well in his future endeavors.
Coach Kobina Amissah has left Goldstars FC after securing a qualification to the next season’s Ghana Premier league.
Goldstars finished first in the just ended zone two table of the division one league ahead of clubs like Skyy FC, FC Samartex, Sekondi Hasaacas, New Edubiase and host of others to get the slot to participate in the country’s top-flight football next season.[ads5]
