Accra Hearts of Oak have confirmed the appointment of Swedish trainer, Rene Hiddink as the Club’s new Technical Director in a statement released on Saturday, July 29, 2023.
Following reports in the media that Rene Hiddink will arrive in Ghana on Saturday, the Club have named a “first batch” of personnel to handle various roles.
Rene Hiddink comes in to bridge coordination among the entire Phobian fraternity; Auroras, Royal Oaks and Oaks FC(the Club’s women’s team).

Mercy Tagoe-Quaicoe has been named a the Head Coach of Oaks FC. Jerry Adjei Asare as been named as the new goalkeepers trainer while Sebastian Barnes take the role as the Club Scout.
