Hearts of Oak have parted ways with head coach Kim Grant on mutual consent.

The Rainbow giant have parted ways with the former Ghanaian international after faling to bring joy back on the faces of the Phobians.
Grant was given a four matches ultimatum after their 2:1 lost to their bitterest rival Asante Kotoko in the 2019 President’s Cup.
His sack has come few days after the club was beaten 0:1 at the Accra Sports Stadium by Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League opener.

Deputy coach Edward Nii Odoom has been appointed to take over with immediate effect as they prepare to face Medeama Sporting Club in match day two of the Ghana Premier League at Akoon Park.
A statement from the club reads, “Accra Hearts of Oak and Director of Football Kim Grant have parted ways. Edward Nii Odoom takes over with immediate effect as the head coach. The club would like to ask for continuous support for Coach Odoom and we wish Coach Grant the very best in his future endeavours.”
