Media General has announced the appointment of Afeafa Nfojoh as the General Manager of 3Group, comprising TV3 and 3FM following the resignation of Francis Doku from the position.
The appointment takes effect from Monday, July 10 while Francis Doku’s resignation took effect on Friday, July 7, 2023.
This follows the exit of Francis Doku, who is said to have moved on to pursue other interests.
A statement issued by the media giant said Ms Nfojoh has an illustrious career in the media industry, having made significant contributions to the television landscape in Ghana.
She is an award-winning TV producer-director who has received international acclaim for her works.
She has garnered accolades at prestigious film festivals such as Aniwa Film Festival, Rencontres Henri Langois Film Festival in France, Berlin International Film Festival in Germany, Sithengi Film Festival in South Africa, and Fespaco in Burkina Faso.

“Given her remarkable achievements and stellar track record, Afeafa’s appointment is a testament to her exceptional leadership and expertise,” the statement said.
“Her extensive experience, coupled with her creative vision, will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success and growth of 3Group.”
She has been with Adesa Productions Limited (APL), the production arm of Media General.
“At APL, she spearheads the production of highly acclaimed reality shows on TV3 and Onua TV, including the immensely popular programmes, Date Rush, Ghana’s Most Beautiful, Mentor, Talented Kidz, Ladies Circle, Showbiz 360, Today’s Woman, The Day Show, Onua Showtime, and many more.”
Management of Media General congratulated her and expressed “full confidence in her ability to lead 3Group to even higher heights”.
