Renowned sportscaster, Stephen Kwame Yeboah is otherwise known as KY has joined Connect FM, a Media General subsidiary in the Western Region.
The industrious sportscaster has joined the Pipe Ano-based radio station after resigning from Ahoto FM at the beginning of January 2022.
He is expected to commence work at Connect FM from February 1, 2022, after finalizing all paperwork.

The affable broadcaster is to spice up Connect FM sports department that has the experienced Benjamin Quansah, the knowledgeable Francis Hema, Nana Osei Bonsu, Abedi Yankey and Emmanuel Awuah.
Stephen Kwame Yeboah is an astute sports broadcaster with over eighteen years of experience in the media industry.
He began his radio career at Kyzz FM somewhere in 2004 whilst he was a student at then Takoradi Polytechnic after a recommendation to the Management of the station by one Ebenezer Aidoo, popularly known as Kofi Aidoo ‘ The governor”.

He has formerly worked with Kyzz FM, Skyy Media Group (Skyy Power FM/TV), Radio Silver and recently with Atinka Media Village subsidiary Ahoto FM, all in Takoradi of the Western Region of Ghana.
Kwame Yeboah is the brain behind the establishment of KY Media Consult Ltd (KYFILLA.COM, online news portal).
He holds a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Management and Human Resource Strategy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing Management at Dr D.Y. Patil Vidyapeth University, Pune, India.
He also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Industrial Arts(Textiles) from the Takoradi Technical University, Ghana.
Kwame Yeboah served as Media Relations Officer for Division Two side Rospak Sc in 2009 and was part of the Publicity Committee for Medeama Sporting Club in their maiden CAF Confederation Cup.[ads1]
He has covered the Ghana Premier League, Division One, Women’s Premier League, alongside other sporting events across the country since 2005 and a great ambassador for the local league.
Regarded as one of the best and respected Sportscaster in the Western Region and Ghana, Kwame has also covered major FIFA and CAF tournaments which include, the 2009 CHAN Tournament in Cote D’Ivoire, 2013 FIFA U.20 World Cup in Turkey, 2017 FIFA U.17 World Cup in India, AFCON 2012 in Gabon/Equatorial Guinea, AFCON 2013 in South Africa, AFCON 2019 in Egypt, 2007 CAF Champions League (Port Authority vs Asante Kotoko) qualifier in Banjul, Gambia, 2012 AFCON qualifier (Sudan vs Ghana) in Khartoum, Sudan, etc.
He has impacted a lot of people in the western /Western North Region with his sports program and also train upcoming Sportscasters who are doing wonderfully in the sports field.
Stephen Kwame Yeboah currently serves as the vice-chairman of the Western Region Football Association Media Committee and as the Organizer for the Western/Western North Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG).
